Mandy Page Sykora
Mandy is the 17 year old daughter of Brent and Tina Sykora and the granddaughter of the late Charles and Peggy Sykora and the late Wayne and late Joyce Varner. During her time at Marietta High School , Mandy has been involved in Cross Country, Track, Basketball, Bowling, National Honor Society, Student Council, Yearbook, FCA, 4-H and FFA. She has received many awards including KXII A+ Student Athlete, Superintendent's Honor Roll, Marietta High School Student Body President, Oklahoma Girls State Delegate (2019), Oklahoma Youth Tour Delegate (2019), 3x Cross Country Team State Champions, 5x Individual Cross Country and Track and Field State Champion. During her free time she enjoys running, cooking, and games with family and friends. She attends Shady Dale Baptist Church and her future plans include attending Arkansas Tech University as a student athlete on the women's cross country and track and field team and studying Digital Marketing and Business Management. Vegas Loraine Bell
Vegas is the 17 year old daughter of Chris and Ranae Bell and the granddaughter of Bill and Marcia Bell and Justin and the late Mary Yearby. During her time at Marietta High School, Vegas has been involved in student council, leadership, track, cross country, FCA and 4H. She has received many awards including, Cross Country State Champion 3 years, Class Vice President, National Honor Society, Girls State Delegate, and 4H Club Vice President. Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, reading books and playing with her little sister. Krsitlyn is the 18 year old daughter of Troy and Tiffiny Farris and the granddaughter of the late Darlena Pelt, Michael Breaux, and the late Troy Farris , Kelly Ryan. She has been involved in band and her hobbies include spending time with family and always hanging out with her best friend RayAnna. LaKira is the 18 year old daughter of Brylun Anderson and Kasie Colston and the granddaughter of Lisa and Bobby Anderson , Teresa and Manuel Ortega and Martha and Randall Colston. While attending Marietta High School, LaKira has been involved in track, softball, FFA, and the Cosmetology program at Southern Tech as well as SkillsUSA member. She has won many awards including National Technical Honor Society, Perfect Attendance, A&B Honor Roll and All A Honor Roll. Her hobbies include hanging out with her boyfriend and family, drawing, playing video games, sleeping and watching movies. Her future plans include to go to college, get a good job and have a lot money, marry her current boyfriend, buy a huge house and have her own makeup brand. Dylan Michael Prather
Dylan is the 18 year old son of Kimberly Prather and stepdad Johnathon Boswell, Jamey Prather and stepmom Kasie Prather and the grandson of Reba and Jose Rueda, Teresa Prather, John Stovall, Dennis and Darla Boswell, and Robbin and Gary Hill. During his time at Marietta High School , Dylan participated in football, power lifting, where he qualified for State, FFA and FCCLA. He attends All Faith Baptist Church and his future plans include to go to OSU-IT and become certified in power plant operations.

DaNea is the 18 year old daughter of Teresa Lehman and the late George Lehman and the granddaughter of David and Marie Payne and David and Cora Lehman. During her time at Marietta High School , DaNea has been involved in choir, band and FCCLA. Her hobbies include spending time with her great niece and nephew. She attends Eastside Baptist Church and her future plans include to become and LPN.

Bailey is the 19 year old daughter of Shannon Yohn and Step Father Shawn Beal and Donny Yohn and granddaughter of Sherry Boosamra and Bill Lenard. While at Marietta High School she has been involved in FCCLA and choir. Her hobbies include reading and drawing. Her future plans include to go to college and receive a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Aaliyah Garcia
Aaliyah Garcia is the 18 year old daughter of Javier and Jan Garcia and the granddaughter of Tom Wilson, Mike and Sharon Sampson, and the late Raul and Carmen Garcia. During her time at Marietta High School Aaliyah has been involved in many activities including FCCLA and an officer for 4 years, band where she has been the drum major for the 3 years, yearbook, student council and an officer 1 year, speech, Southern Tech and Oklahoma Business Professionals of America and held the position of state reporter. She has won many awards such as Band Ensemble 1 ,Student of the Month of February ,Most Spirited Award from all surrounding school ,National Career Readiness Certificate ,Fundamentals of Technology
Career Tech University ,Marietta FCCLA Top 10 member for 5 years, National Skill, Demonstration Event FCCLA ,District Star Events- New member Facts ,Rookie Camp- Oklahoma FCCLA ,Promote and Publicize FCCLA ,Cooking Heart Award- Marietta FCCLA ,Wrinkled Hands Award- Marietta FCCLA ,Putting Leadership In Action Award ,Outstanding Accomplishment Advance Speech and Letter M Award for Softball. Her hobbies include bible study, fishing, family time, and spending time with Clayton. She attends Cross and Crown Ministries and her future plans include to start her career in medical office and move to Texas with Clayton Bell.

Nicholas Duane Bierschenk
Nicholas is the 17 year old son of Lynn Bierschenk , Monte and Melissia Bierschenk and the grandson of Larry Paulsen. He is a member of Marietta FFA and during his time in FFA he has won several awards including OYE Ag Mechanics Division Winner, OKC Fair state winner in shop improvement division ,Tulsa State Fair state winner in shop improvement division ,Tulsa State Fair Ag Mechanics Reserve Grand Champion and Love County Ag Mechanics Grand Champion. He is a also a member of the National Honor Society. His hobbies include hanging out with his girlfriend, welding and riding his motorcycle. His future plans are to attend Oklahoma State University and double major in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Rebecca Lynn Vinson
Rebecca is the 18 year old daughter of Tommy Vinson and Jackie Campbell and the granddaughter of Jack and Pearl Campbell and the late Marshall Vinson and the late Iva Lorene Vinson as well as Mary Vinson. During her time at Marietta High School , Rebecca has been involved in Speech, Theatre, Student Council, Academic Bowl, Kindness Counts and Gifted and Talented. She is a member of National Honor Society and was the 2019 Girls State Delegate. Her hobbies include art, writing and fishing. Rebecca plans to attend South Eastern State University and major in Psychology.

Cheyenne Sierra Thacker
Cheyenne is the 18 year old daughter of Mistee and Donnie Thacker and the granddaughter of Carolyn and Roy Rains, Brenda Smith, Sam and Debbie Cain, Judy and Jake Mayes, and Trina Wells. She attends Eastside Baptist Church. She is a member of the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and Work Keys National Career Readiness. While at Marietta High School, Cheyenne has attended Southern Tech where she has been certified in the following areas, Career Tech Fundamentals of Technology, Medical Assistant and Medical Administrative Assistant. Her hobbies spending time with her family and boyfriend, going mudding her jeep and go fishing. She also enjoys spending time with all of her critters such as the goats, chickens, dogs, guinea pigs, and cat. Her future plans include to work in the medical field using her experience that she has gained at Southern Tech and attend college to earn her ADN-RN degree.

Dylan Cole Brock
Dylan is the 18 year old son of Robert and Misty Brock and the grandson of Scott and Stevie Chitwood , Kathy Brock and the late Bob Brock. During his time at Marietta High School he has been part of the football, baseball and basketball teams as well as All A Honor Roll. He is also Valedictorian. His hobbies include spending time with family and his girlfriend. His future plans include going to college to become an orthodontist.

Child Nutrition Director, Wendy Birks & her amazing staff handed out over 1000 breakfast/lunch combo meals this week in our first week of grab and go meal service!
All 3rd-5th students have personal belongings at school. If you haven’t come by to pick those items up, today is the day until 2:30.
Middle School students - we saw 81% of you today picking up your items. It was GREAT to see you. We will be in the building Monday from 9:00-12:00 for any student who still needs to come get things.
All Marietta high school boys who will be a Sophomore,Junior or Senior NEXT year. In order to be custom fitted with a new helmet and shoulder pads, you must email coach Doby, our new head football coach. His email is adoby@mariettaisd.org. This needs to be done by April 8th.
Seniors, Scholarship deadlines have been extended. They are now due no later than April 22nd.
Just a reminder, if you still need a device and couldn’t make it on Thursday, the office hours for each school is Mon & Thurs. 9-12. You can also call and leave a message if needed.
