
Marietta high school boys and girls cross country teams competed at the state cross country meet on Saturday at Edmond Santa Fe high school. The boys team came in 4th place, while the girls came in 7th. Wyatt Vinson got 4th place individually and Kyler Williams came in 13th. Great job!!!!

2021 All-District Honor Choir
On Thursday 10 Marietta Choir students participated in the Southeastern Oklahoma All-District Honor Choir. There were two choirs: Junior High comprised of 7-9th graders Eva Bucher, Ace Austin and Sydney Dodd. High School Choir with 9-12th graders Isabel Lopez, Rebekah Alberda, Mackenzie Kyle, Tanasia Randle, Angel Follis and Colours Starsick. We had three students who received their 3 year medals. For 7-9 grade attendance. Eva Bucher, Ace Austin and Rebekah Alberda. These choirs performed good choral literature that is also their All-State Audition music. All state auditions are Saturday October 30th.


Our Primary School GEM for October is Mrs. Lacie Kirk (aka Tinkerbell😊)
She is one of our awesome Teacher Assistants and does a super job! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Mrs. Snow for being selected October Teacher of the Month. Mrs Snow teaches 7th grade Reading and Language Arts in the Middle School. She is in her 22nd year of teaching with 16 years in Idaho and 5 years in Texas. We are fortunate to have Mrs. Snow as a Marietta Indian!!!


Marietta high counselor Tonya Bucher presented college and career redlines information to freshman and sophomores today. They learned information about college, and why it is important to prepare early. Marietta high school has received a grant to promote college and career readiness through the K20 center at the university of Oklahoma., which has provided materials for specialty classes, professional development and after school tutoring.

Marietta Middle School Students of the Month for October. 8th grade Garrett Flanagan and Madi Michael, 7th grade Emanual Castillo and Marianna Olvera and 6th grade Blake Teal and Karrington Staton. Congratulations to these awesome students.


Marietta FCCLA hosted the Southeast District 1 Leadership Conference on Monday. 320 FCCLA members from 15 different schools attended the meeting. Over 900 items and $300 was collected in a community service project to donate to Citizens Caring for Children. Members heard from guest speakers including Trooper Austin Ludwyck and State Senator David Bullard. Members also participated in Oklahoma Challenge activities focused on preventing Distracted Driving.

5th graders enjoyed book tasting at Starbooks Cafe. They read various genre books and reviewed them.


Red Ribbon Week, previously posted on our social media sites, will be celebrated by Middle School and High School. Primary and Elementary will instead be celebrating Kindness Month, beginning November 1. Your student will be bringing home information this next week that outlines all our activities planned. We apologize for the confusion.
