In hour of Veterans Day we had someMarietta high school had some students write a few lines about how much they appreciate our nation’s veterans.
Thank you for your bravery, your sacrifice, and your hard work. Thank you for the time that you spend away from your family to defend our country. I appreciate your dedication and long hours you take to protect our nation.

Congratulations to FCCLA members competing in District STAR Events in Sulphur today. 4th place in Creed Speaking Level 2 was Areial Motes, 2nd place in Cake Decorating Level 1 was Devyn Anderson. Placing 2nd and advancing to regionals in Creed Speaking Level 1 Ryli Wilkinson and 1st place and advancing to regionals in Cake Decorating level 3 Marco Delacruz.


Schools picture retakes will be Friday, November 12th, in the upper elementary library. If you missed photos they first round this will be the time to get your photo completed for the yearbook.

Thursday, November 11, Marietta High School/Middle School will honor our Veteran’s during an assembly at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium. We would love for any and all Veterans to be in attendance.

Marietta Elementary and Primary has the BEST custodians!! Students took time to thank them for their hard work of keeping our school neat and clean as part of our Kindness Month.


Thank You lunch ladies for ALL you do for us! Marietta Elementary recognized them today as part of our Kindness Month Celebration!





Marietta high school WILL be open for in-person learning tomorrow Thursday November 4th. The high school will be on a normal class schedule.

Although sad to see what has been an institution since the 1960's for Marietta, the high school building, starts to come down today. We know the future looks bright though and all the challenges in the coming months will be worth it! Future Gold Standard


High school students, who are on a virtual day today, are encouraged to come eat lunch at the school’s cafeteria. Lunch for high school students begins at 12:05

Marietta high school STAR teacher for October is counselor Tonya Bucher. Mrs Bucher will received $5.00 gift card donated by Marietta Sonic.


Marietta high school October students of the month are freshman Emily Faulkenberry and Schuyler Blevins. Student of the month is nominated and voted on by the high school staff. Each student receives a $5.00 gift card donated to Marietta high by our local Sonic.


Marietta high school students will be working virtually tomorrow, Tuesday November 2nd. The students will follow their normal class schedule virtually according to their teacher’s virtual platform preference.
