3rd grade Mrs. McCarroll's class learned directions playing 4 corners on the playground using a map and compass! Real life experiences stick with them!

Started this morning with positive vibes from our football players. They opened doors and greeted our elementary parent drop off students this morning. Lots of smiling faces to start our day!




Primary School students are having lots of fun with our Homecoming dress-up days!








The Homecoming festivities continue!! Ms. Kamesch's Floral Design class created their annual Giant Mum! This years mum measured 14ft.


Mrs. Hansen's class is learning about the components of a jet engine.



FCCLA officers are in McAlester today attending the FCCLA LEAD Conference. Officers are attending workshops learning how to be incredible leaders.


What a great idea! We had our first "Spirit Walk" today. Our high school football 🏈 players, cheerleaders, mascot, and band walked down our halls to loud cheers by our elementary students. Great day to be a Marietta Indian!!!






Marietta Elementary welcomed the DAR today! They came to teach information about our Constitution, founding fathers, flag etiquette, and facts about America. They also gave the students their own flag and bookmark with the Preamble on it. Thank you for sharing with us.




Students in Mrs. Faulkenberry’s Culinary Basics class completed the efoodhandlers food safety course and received a 3 year certification from the nationally accredited Food Safety Training program.


First Grade students in Mrs. Stein's class listened to “Otto’s Tales-Today is September 11th” and colored the American Flag to learn about Patriot's Day today.
