Upper elementary will be hosting Literacy Night, Monday, October 3rd from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Join the staff for an exciting evening full of fun, literacy games and door prizes.
Marietta students participated in their 1st Special Olympics last week. Several won ribbons at the bowling competition held in Durant. Up next will be a cornhole event on October 5.



All cookie dough fundraiser order forms and money are due Tuesday, September 27th, at the elementary building. Students may turn it in to their homeroom teacher.

Amy Gomez received a personal letter from President Biden! They were having a writing lesson in the library when her letter was sent to the White House. She is a 5th grader at the elementary.

Congratulations to Ailey Self for being voted as our “Favorite Teacher” In Ardmore Realty’s contest! Ailey has been teaching 5th grade for two years. We are blessed to have her as part of the team!

Today on Oklahoma Living a segment on Fox 25 News in Oklahoma City, Noble McIntyre from McIntyre Law presented Emily Faulkenberry an award for outstanding achievements in service of her community for her 4-H community service project “Everyone deserves a party” along with her plaques she also received a check for herself and the Marietta 4-H club. Just a reminder that parent pick-up is configured just as we have done in the past with it looping around by the elementary school/cafeteria and then middle school. Students will not be released to walk to the high school or allowed to walk in the parking lot where high school students are exiting for safety.
