Red Ribbon Week, previously posted on our social media sites, will be celebrated by Middle School and High School. Primary and Elementary will instead be celebrating Kindness Month, beginning November 1. Your student will be bringing home information this next week that outlines all our activities planned. We apologize for the confusion.

Congratulations to the Middle School Cross Country teams. Both teams placed 1st place at Healdton Tuesday. They will run their last meet at Chickasha Thursday at the Junior High All Star Meet. Good luck to all the runners and coaches.

Congratulations to our Marietta Primary and Elementary Students winning 3rd/4th Grade Girls Champion, 3rd/4th Grade Boys Runner-up and 1st/2nd Grade Girls Runner up at the SOTC Championship Run. We are proud of all our students that participated in this year's Little Indians Cross Country events.
Congratulations to our Special Olympics team on participating in the first year of cornhole (replacement for bowling). The athletes and their unified partners competed at Durant yesterday with other athletes from the area and brought home the following awards:
Memphis Matthews and Cash Dobbins got 1st in the 8-11 year old division. Stetson Willis and Keegan Roach got 2nd.
Wyatt Drain and Tripp Lutkenhaus got 1st in the 12-15 year old division. Aidan Sanders and Will Rutledge got 2nd.
Wyatt and Tripp got 1st overall. We are so proud of the Special Olympics team and their coach, Maverick McClendon, in their accomplishments this year!

Marietta high school students performed their One act play for high students this afternoon in the auditorium. The drama team was practicing for their One act play competition on October 12 in Stigler Ok. They did an amazing job!!!
Our Primary School GEM for September is Mrs. Ballard. She teaches Kindergarten and does an outstanding job! Congratulations!

Marietta high school junior class will be selling hamburger and potato chip plates at Friday nights football game. The plates will cost 5 dollars.
We love our school nurse, Mrs. Santibanez! She ensures our students are treated to the best medical care whether it's a little scratch on the knee or something more serious. She's been a great addition to our team.
A meeting of the Indian Education (Johnson O’Malley) Parent Advisory Committee for Marietta Public Schools will be held on Monday, October 11 at 6 p.m. in the Middle School Library.
Parent/Teacher Conference is scheduled for next Monday, October 11. We are excited to announce these conferences will be in-person this year. For Primary and Elementary, conferences are scheduled directly with the homeroom teacher. Middle School and High School parents can call the office to schedule their appointments.
