Thank you to Firefighter Kyle from Greenville Volunteer Fire Department, Mrs. Lacie, and Ms. Everly for bringing the firetruck for our Primary School students. They learned about all the tools and gear that firefighters use, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and how to call 911 in an emergency. They also learned to "Stop, Drop, and Roll" and "Get Low and Get Out" to be safe in a fire. We appreciate you teaching us all these important things about Fire Safety!
Thank you to Riley & Co, here in Marietta. Our third graders were invited over for a pumpkin painting party. They enjoyed some cookies, popcorn, and drinks. The students were so excited to show off their pumpkin masterpiece. Come down and check your child's creation out on display! Thanks again for providing a fun opportunity for our students!!!

It's a great start to our day when the football boys greet our primary and elementary kiddos at the parent drop off loop!
Mrs. McCarroll’s 3rd graders had a special visit from some football boys today as they explored Newton’s Laws of Motion through the science of football! The students learned about the momentum behind tackling, the force needed when running the ball, and the physics of kicking a field goal—safely, of course! A great way to make science fun and engaging.

Congratulations to Ms. Olivia Carmona - students selected her as teacher of the month. This is Ms. Carmona's first year of teaching, she teaches 6th and 7th grade science. She has served as the ELL aide for the past four year. The students said this about her: "she always helps students and is very kind", she's the sweetest teacher ever", she's so awesome and patient with us" and "she is caring, helpful and always there when you need her."
