Marietta high school and middle school art student's will have their work on display at the Goddard Center All School Art Exhibit. There will be an opening reception today, March 10th from 4:30-6:30 at the Goddard center in Ardmore. The art will be on display today through April 2nd. Go check out our young talented artists!

Marietta high school juniors will be having an ACT prep session tomorrow, Wednesday, March 9th at the SOTC conference center in Marietta. The session will start at 9:00 am and last until approximately 3:00 pm. Students should arrive at 8:45 am at the conference center in the morning. We will have a bus at Marietta high school to transport students who ride a bus to school and do not have a ride from school to the conference center.

Emily Faulkenberry, freshman at Marietta High School, needs your help with her 4-H Service Project, Everyone Deserves a Party. Emily is creating birthday bags to share with students PK - 12th grade who receive services through the school food pantry to include cake mixes, frosting, birthday candles, plates, cups and napkins. If you would like to help with Emily's project you can drop supplies off at Marietta High School or the Love County OSU Extension Office. Let's make sure all our students get some special treatment on their birthday!

Congratulations to Amanda Faulkenberry, she is Marietta high school’s teacher of the year! She was voted teacher of the year by the high school staff. Mrs Faulkenberry teaches FCCLA, career tech, culinary arts among a host of other classes. Mrs Faulkenberry is also a successful 4-H clubs and a sewing club. She is always willing to go above and beyond what is expected for her students as well as the high school staff. She is an amazing teacher which is evident by how successful her programs are, and how much her students, past and present, love her! Great job, you deserve this honor!
