Three Marietta High School senior softball players have received recognition for their hard work on the diamond.
Haven Mathews made the All-District team as an outfielder and honorable mention on the All-Conference team.
“Haven was our team MVP on the year, batting .384 with 30 stolen bases, 15 runs scored, and 10 RBIs,” said Head Coach Kevin Parsons. “Her offense and defense really helped lead our team.”
Kyra Ellison made the All-District team as a utility player.
“She had a solid year for us playing right field with only one error on the season,” Parsons remarked. “She batted .274, but it was her defense that was exceptional this year.”
Kaylie Douglass received honorable mention on the All-Conference team.
“Kaylie did a great job for us in the circle this year and helped lead the team to five wins on the year,” continued Parsons.
Douglass batted .312 for the season.
“I am really proud of these seniors and what they were able to accomplish,” concluded Parsons.
